We are extremely proud to have
been asked to participate and be recognized in both on-line and
printed publications over the last year. We would like to share these
resources with you. We'd also like to send a huge Thank you to all of

make the lives of both owners and all blind/visually impaired dogs

for Caring Dog Owners (Tufts University School of Veterinary
Medicine) In the
April 2000 issue the Owners of Blind Dog site and some of the
blind dog list members were asked to contribute to an article
about Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA) You can order back issues
at http://www.tufts.com
Ask for April 2000, Volume VI, Number 4. We hope to be able to get
permission to reprint the article to our site.
- Paws with Tanner
My dog Tyler was
featured in the local shelter's weekly article in the local paper.
The "author" Jane behind Tanner, said the article has produced
more comments than any other article she has ever written before.
The article will also be available in the near future on the
shelters web site Hancock
County Animal Shelter
- Dogs Fancy In
the October 2000 issue, an article was done on "Dogs and owners
overcome disabilities" for the dogwatch
(pg 16) section referring people to our site for support,
information and those wanting to adopt a visually impaired dog. Thank you Dog
Fancy!
- The Dog Nose News is
a Portland based newsletter for dog lovers. David Congalton did a
wonderful article on the site with special attention Being paid to the Blind
Dogs Up for Adoption (Thanks again Dave) and Blind dog Fund. The
newsletter is on-line but the article isn't (will try to get permission to
